Demonstrating a powerful example of humanitarian politics, Alhaj Rakibul Islam Bakul, Central Committee Member and Secretary for Student Affairs of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), inaugurated a deep tube well installation in Noayabati, Khulna, on Saturday (October 25).
Speaking at the event, Rakibul Islam Bakul emphasized the importance of ensuring access to safe water as a fundamental human right. “To fulfill people’s basic needs, ensuring access to water must come first. I believe this tube well will greatly ease the suffering of local residents. BNP seeks not only to lead political movements but also to stand beside the people through humanitarian efforts. Our main goal is for party leaders and activists to always work for public welfare,” he said.
The foundation stone for the deep tube well was laid near Haji Shariat Ullah School, beside the Noayabati railway crossing, aiming to provide the local community with a reliable source of pure drinking water.
Local BNP leaders, representatives from various party wings, and residents of the area attended the ceremony. Following the inauguration, a special prayer (doa and munajat) was held, seeking blessings for peace and prosperity.
Residents warmly welcomed the initiative, noting that the area had long suffered from a shortage of safe drinking water. They expressed gratitude for the project, saying it would bring comfort and health benefits to many families.
The humanitarian initiative led by Rakibul Islam Bakul and BNP members has earned widespread appreciation from the local community. Attendees prayed for the continued peace, development, and welfare of the nation.
