  • Free Eye Care Camp Organized by Khulna BNP Brings Hope to Hundreds

    A one-day Free Eye Care Camp, organized under the initiative of Khulna Metropolitan BNP, was successfully held at Raiar Mahal Secondary School, Khalishpur, drawing nearly 300 patients from surrounding areas. From early morning, residents gathered to receive free eye checkups, medical advice, and eyeglasses under the supervision of expert ophthalmologists. The camp also identified 20 patients who will undergo free cataract and duct surgeries in the coming weeks. This social program was carried out with the direct and indirect cooperation of Alhaj Rakibul Islam Bakul, a prominent social worker, philanthropist, and the BNP-nominated candidate for Khulna-3 constituency. His active involvement ensured the event’s smooth organization and impact. The initiative was inspired by the guidance of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, who has called on members to contribute to a “Constructive and Humane Bangladesh.” Reflecting this philosophy, Khulna BNP’s efforts showcased their commitment to public welfare and social responsibility. Sheikh Sadi, Organizational Secretary of Khulna Metropolitan BNP, along with leaders from Khalishpur Thana BNP and Ward No. 14, attended the camp. They lauded the program as a reflection of BNP’s dedication to social development and civic engagement.   • BNP Initiative Reaches 5,000-Person Treatment: Free Medical Camps Continue in Khulna

    A free medical camp was held on Wednesday in Wards No. 9 and 10 of the Khulna metropolitan area, under the initiative of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) and with the full support of BNP's Student Affairs Secretary, Alhaj Rakibul Islam Bakul. On Wednesday (October 22, 2025), from morning until afternoon, arrangements were made to provide free healthcare, medicine, and health consultations to the general public of the area. More than two hundred patients received medical services through this initiative. The DAB medical team conducted check-ups for various common and chronic diseases and provided necessary advice. Local residents stated that such initiatives are extremely helpful for them, describing it as a blessing, especially for low-income families. DAB General Secretary, Dr. Abu Zafar Mohammad Saleh, mentioned that with the support of BNP's Student Affairs Secretary Alhaj Rakibul Islam Bakul, over 5,000 people in the Khulna region have received medical services to date. He added that Alhaj Rakibul Islam Bakul has given assurances that he will continue such public welfare activities in the future as part of his social responsibility.
  • A Unique Example of Humanitarian Politics by BNP : Installation of a Deep Tube Well in Noayabati, Khulna

    Demonstrating a powerful example of humanitarian politics, Alhaj Rakibul Islam Bakul, Central Committee Member and Secretary for Student Affairs of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), inaugurated a deep tube well installation in Noayabati, Khulna, on Saturday (October 25). Speaking at the event, Rakibul Islam Bakul emphasized the importance of ensuring access to safe water as a fundamental human right. “To fulfill people’s basic needs, ensuring access to water must come first. I believe this tube well will greatly ease the suffering of local residents. BNP seeks not only to lead political movements but also to stand beside the people through humanitarian efforts. Our main goal is for party leaders and activists to always work for public welfare,” he said. The foundation stone for the deep tube well was laid near Haji Shariat Ullah School, beside the Noayabati railway crossing, aiming to provide the local community with a reliable source of pure drinking water. Local BNP leaders, representatives from various party wings, and residents of the area attended the ceremony. Following the inauguration, a special prayer (doa and munajat) was held, seeking blessings for peace and prosperity. Residents warmly welcomed the initiative, noting that the area had long suffered from a shortage of safe drinking water. They expressed gratitude for the project, saying it would bring comfort and health benefits to many families. The humanitarian initiative led by Rakibul Islam Bakul and BNP members has earned widespread appreciation from the local community. Attendees prayed for the continued peace, development, and welfare of the nation.
